• Hydra pH buffer slowly releases a pH buffering solution into the pond water to help keep an optimum balance for General Hardness (GH) and Carbonate Hardness (KH).
• Use in ponds with vinyl liners or fibreglass construction that are particularly vulnerable to drops in pH.
• Helps combat acidic rainfall that enters the pond lowering the pH.
• Soft water areas have a naturally lower capacity for buffering water - meaning changes will happen more quickly.
• Hydra pH buffer is an essential additive to stop drastic changes in the balance of the water.

How to Use

• In an established pond, the ideal alkalinity measurement should be around 100ppm; readings from 50-200 are acceptable.
• Fill the media bag with Hydra pH Buffer granules. It will take 2-3 weeks for your system to reach its balance.
• Place media bag in either last chamber of filtration system on near pump outlet
• Check every 3 months and renew if rocks look porous and flaky.

• 11Ibs treats 5,000 gallons of pond water
• 44Ibs treats 20,000 gallons of pond water
