Features & Benefits
- Removes 80%+ of phosphorus (phosphates) from water – these chemicals are used as a food source for algae and blanket weed.
- When applied to a water body, the phosphates form an insoluble complex within the Hydra Phos-Gone particles thereby immobilising them as nutrients.
- Hydra Phos-Gone also contains a blend of bacteria which mop up the rest of the nutrients over a 4 - 6 week period.
- This helps restore the water body back to its natural state and prevents further algae outbreaks.
- Effective over a wide pH range (6 – 9).
- Made from 100% natural biodegradable minerals.
Dilution Rates
- 1 kilo treats –100 cu metres (100,000 litres).
- 5 kilo treats – 500 cu metres (500,000 litres).
- 20 kilos treats – 2,000 cu metres (2 million litres).
- For extreme algal problems, you may need to add an extra 50%.
